Valuation Soars to $1.5 Billion as AI Adoption Grows
Omni, a leading AI analytics platform, has raised $120 million in a Series C funding round, elevating its valuation to $1.5 billion. ICONIQ led the funding, with participation from existing investors including Theory Ventures, First Round Capital, Redpoint Ventures, and GV. The round features a $30 million employee tender offer, marking a notable increase from Omni’s previous $650 million valuation in March 2025. This surge is attributed to fourfold year-over-year revenue growth, driven by companies adopting enterprise AI solutions and consolidating legacy BI use cases.
Colin Zima, CEO and co-founder of Omni, stated, “AI isn’t replacing analytics, it’s expanding it. Dashboards and spreadsheets aren’t going away, but now anyone can get instant answers without technical expertise.” He emphasised the need for businesses to build systems that can capitalise on these advancements.
AI Analytics Transforming Business
Omni’s platform effectively addresses the challenges of integrating AI with business data. Many AI tools fail to understand business context, leading to unreliable results. Omni’s semantic model, which includes a governed context graph with metric definitions and business logic, ensures accurate and trusted AI-generated queries.
Sarah Fischbach, Staff Analytics Engineer at Checkr, remarked, “Omni stands out because it makes all of our knowledge structured and durable for smarter AI. It gains more value as more people and AI tools depend on it.”
Omni’s approach is proving successful at scale. BambooHR launched its Elite Analytics product to over 30,000 users within the first four months and now serves more than 100,000 people using Omni. Cribl fully migrated to Omni in three months, enabling company-wide self-service AI analytics. Meanwhile, Guitar Centre has consolidated various BI tools into Omni, creating a governed, context-rich AI foundation for every team.
Omni’s agentic capabilities extend beyond the core platform. Users can query governed data from Claude, Cursor, and VS Code, with queries inheriting the same business logic and permissions as native Omni queries.
Omni integrates seamlessly with major data platforms like Snowflake, Google BigQuery, and Amazon Redshift. The company plans to further expand its AI analytics offerings and will host a live webinar with CEO Colin Zima on 14th May to provide more insights into their technology.
