SCENIC RIM — Summer Land Camels, based in Queensland’s Scenic Rim, has won bronze at the 2026 World Championship Cheese Contest in Madison, Wisconsin, according to the company. The award was given for their Marinated Camel Cheese – Persian Feta Style, which scored 99.6 out of 100 from international judges.
The competition, held by the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association, saw the camel cheese recognised in the ‘Open Class – All Other Milk Cheese’ category. Judges commended its balance of flavors and craftsmanship, Summer Land Camels confirmed.
