Florentino Sunday Menu Launches At 80 Bourke Street From 17th May 2026
Florentino Dining Room will introduce a new family-style Sunday lunch menu from 17th May 2026, built around the Italian tradition of pranzo della domenica.
The menu, called Arrosto della Domenica, will run during Sunday lunch service only and will sit alongside the restaurant’s existing à la carte and set menu options.
The launch gives Florentino Dining Room a dedicated Sunday lunch menu centred on shared dishes, roasted meats and regional Italian family recipes. It also comes as Sunday trading returns across the wider Florentino precinct, with Café Florentino, Cellar Bar and Ombra now open on Sundays.
The opening menu begins with assaggini, including panis quadratus bread with garlic and honey, marinated olives, and grissini with grana padano. Culatello with persimmon and basil will be available for an additional $15 per person.
The first course is brodo di carne with braised short rib tortellini, followed by porchetta Trevigiana roasted on the rotisserie with rosemary, sage and fennel. The main dish will be served with braised cavolo nero, sweet onion and mace, plus roast potatoes, gravy and San Rocco Collina Veneta cheese.
Edition Group culinary director Michael Greenlaw said the menu was shaped by the feeling of traditional Italian Sunday dining.
“The idea comes from the classic Italian pranzo della domenica, long lunches centred around generosity, conversation and comforting food. We wanted to create something that feels celebratory but also relaxed and familiar.”
The menu will change with the seasons and draw on regional Italian roast traditions, rather than stay fixed to one version.

Sunday Trading Returns Across Florentino
The launch also marks a broader Sunday shift for the Florentino precinct.
Florentino Dining Room will now serve lunch from Friday to Sunday from 12pm, with dinner from Monday to Sunday from 5.30pm.
Café Florentino will open for lunch daily from 12pm and dinner daily from 5pm. Cellar Bar will trade Monday to Sunday from 11am until late, while Ombra will open for dinner from Wednesday to Friday from 5pm, and from 12pm until late on Saturday and Sunday.
Arrosto della Domenica will be available every Sunday for lunch only at Florentino Dining Room, 80 Bourke Street, Melbourne.
The menu is priced at $95 per person, with a minimum booking of two guests.
