Bottomless Dayze serves $34.90 bottomless mezze every Saturday
Bar Bouni in Southbank has introduced Bottomless Dayze, a bottomless mezze dining experience priced at $34.90 per person. The offering presents a selection of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dishes served across a 90-minute sitting. Bookings are available for lunch and dinner every Saturday.
The menu centres on a rotating selection of mezze dishes drawn from across the Mediterranean and Middle East. As a result, diners receive a sequence of dishes served throughout the sitting rather than a fixed set menu. The format allows guests to sample a range of dishes within the allocated time.
Additionally, Bar Bouni offers a drinks upgrade that includes bottomless cocktails, beer and wine for $49.40 per person. The optional beverage package is available alongside the food offering during the same 90-minute session. Both options operate under the same booking structure.

Rotating mezze dishes feature Lebanese and Mediterranean flavours
The dishes served during Bottomless Dayze change seasonally to reflect available ingredients and menu updates. However, several items regularly appear within the rotation. These include Lebanese pickles, za’atar flatbread served with hot honey, and plancha grilled kofta topped with zhoug and pistachio.
Furthermore, the menu incorporates sauces and dips associated with Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cooking. Taratoor, a tahini-based sauce, is served as a complementary accompaniment to several dishes. Meanwhile, muhammara made from roasted red peppers, also appears within the selection.
Each sitting operates on a shared dining format where dishes arrive in steady rotation. Consequently, diners receive multiple servings throughout the 90-minute period. The structure allows additional dishes to be served across the session rather than delivered all at once.

Bar Bouni describes the menu as a combination of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean influences under the label Leboterranean cuisine. The dishes combine elements associated with Lebanese cooking alongside Mediterranean flavours and ingredients. Therefore, the menu draws from both culinary traditions.
The restaurant positions the offering as a shared dining experience designed for group bookings and weekend gatherings. Both lunch and dinner sittings follow the same menu structure and duration. However, the dishes may vary depending on seasonal menu changes.
Bottomless Dayze takes place every Saturday with 90-minute mezze bookings available across both lunch and dinner service periods. The experience combines rotating dishes with optional beverage packages within the fixed sitting time.
Bar Bouni brings bold, modern Lebo-terranean fusion to Southbank’s Arts Precinct – a vibrant mash-up of Lebanese and Mediterranean flavours with a distinctly Melbourne attitude.
