Temas Resources Welcomes Dr. Faucher to Advisory Board

Enhancing RCL Technology Development

Temas Resources Corp. announced on April 8, 2026, the appointment of Dr. Santiago Faucher to its Scientific Advisory Board. This move aims to enhance the commercialisation of their Regenerative Chloride Leaching (RCL) technology.

Dr. Santiago Faucher, based in Toronto, is a chemical engineer renowned worldwide for his expertise in process development and technology commercialization. With over 30 years of experience, he has successfully deployed complex technologies across five continents in the mining, metallurgical, and chemical industries.

Currently, Dr. Faucher is President of Insight R&D Inc., where he leads the development of advanced process technologies for mining and metallurgical clients. His work includes uranium extraction, base metal recovery systems, slag valorisation, and chemical production processes, particularly focusing on complex ores and unconventional routes.

Dr. Faucher’s academic credentials include a B.Sc. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, and he holds over 60 U.S. patents, many of which have been commercialized successfully. He has authored numerous technical publications and previously served as President of the Canadian Society for Chemical Engineers and as an adjunct professor at McMaster University.

The RCL technology is an environmentally responsible hydrometallurgical processing method, designed to extract metals from complex mineralisation. It aims to reduce costs and environmental impact while enhancing efficiency in mineral processing.

Dr. Faucher will offer independent technical guidance to Temas, supporting process optimization, scale-up strategies, and evaluation of third-party mineral feedstocks for potential licensing and joint venture opportunities. His role will significantly contribute to the global deployment of the RCL platform.

As a result of this appointment, Temas Resources is poised to strengthen its technical leadership and drive growth in the critical minerals sector. The company plans further appointments to its Scientific Advisory Board, reinforcing its commitment to scientific rigor and technical excellence.
