Kinaxis Maestro to Enhance Supply Chain Resilience
Announced on 27th April 2026, Tesa SE has selected the Kinaxis Maestro platform to overhaul its global integrated business planning processes.
Following an in-depth evaluation, Tesa aims to adopt a centrally governed, globally orchestrated planning model by leveraging the capabilities of the Kinaxis platform. This decision is expected to enhance transparency and resilience across Tesa's intricate global supply chain.
Operating for over 130 years, Tesa is a leader in the adhesive product market, with operations spanning six global regions. The company delivers solutions to both industrial and consumer markets and seeks to enhance decision-making speed and confidence as its portfolio and regional presence expand.
Andreas Rummert, Head of Global Operations at Tesa SE, expressed the company's goals: "Our ambition is to establish integrated business planning as a core enterprise capability that enables faster, more confident decision making and helps us respond quickly to changing market and customer needs."
In recent years, Tesa has identified the need for a scalable and integrated planning foundation. This platform will enable quicker and more assured decisions across the entire enterprise, addressing the growth-induced complexity across functions and regions.
The decision to partner with Kinaxis also aligns with Tesa's AI strategy. Christoph Hummel, Head of DIT at Tesa SE, remarked, "Choosing Kinaxis as our strategic partner accelerates Tesa’s AI strategy by embedding advanced analytics and AI-driven decision support directly into our core planning processes."
