European Market Welcomes New Energy Solution
Tigo Energy, Inc. Has started shipments of its GO Optimised Energy Storage System (ESS) to European residential customers. This move fulfills preorders made earlier this year, with the announcement made on 17th June.
The GO Battery, an essential part of the system, boasts a modular design using 3.68kWh units. These units can be configured to provide capacities from 7.3kWh to 47.9kWh. This offers flexibility for a range of residential applications in Europe, from compact apartments to larger homes.
Intersolar Europe 2026, held in Munich from 23rd to 25th June, will showcase the system. Tigo Energy will present live demonstrations at booth B3.140.
Advanced Features and Compatibility
The GO Battery supports both single-phase and three-phase configurations and can operate at temperatures as low as -30°C. It employs Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) chemistry and features an IP65 enclosure suitable for indoor and outdoor installations.
Weiss-Blau GmbH, a member of the Tigo Installer Loyalty programme, is among the first companies to deploy the system in the European market. Georg Kreitmair, managing director at Weiss-Blau GmbH, stated that the system provides a “flexible platform for residential projects.”
The system integrates with the Tigo EI platform for unit-level monitoring and remote diagnostics. This helps installers manage installations efficiently and reduces service calls.
Jing Tian, Tigo’s chief growth and revenue officer, expressed enthusiasm among European installers for the new system, especially those participating in the Tigo Installer Loyalty programme.
Tigo Energy’s GO Optimised ESS combines the GO Battery with the Tigo EI Inverter, TS4 Flex MLPE optimization products, GO EV Charger, and GO Junction for heat pump integration. This creates a connected ecosystem that covers solar production, storage, e-mobility, and home heating.
Installers deploying the GO Optimised ESS for the first time can benefit from the Tigo Green Glove programme, which offers a professional system design review.
Attendees of Intersolar Europe can register in advance for training sessions led by Tigo experts, with sessions available in both German and English. European installers interested in the GO Battery can place orders through authorised distributors.
