Viva Melbourne confirms final Vogue and Vicious shows before 25th April closure

Viva Melbourne has confirmed that its cabaret productions Vogue and Vicious will conclude on 25th April, with final performances scheduled across April. The venue will continue operations and is preparing to launch two new shows in May. However, the current productions will not continue beyond the announced closing date.

The performances take place inside a Spiegel tent setting, which reflects a 1920s design style. Guests attend seated shows that combine dining, drinks, and live performance. In addition, the format integrates service and stage elements within the same space.

Vogue is described as a production combining fashion themes with performance elements. The show includes choreography, acrobatics, and visual design influenced by runway and ballroom culture. It draws references from Paris and New York, while presenting stylised movement and costume-led sequences.

Meanwhile, Vicious presents a late-night format with a darker tone. The production includes choreography, speciality acts, and staged sequences that continue into a post-show dance floor environment. As a result, the experience extends beyond the performance itself.

Show schedule and access details

The venue is located at Level 2, 64–90 Sutton Street, North Melbourne, VIC 3151. The front bar opens from 6:00pm, offering drinks and dining before performances begin. Shows run on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings.

Showtimes are scheduled for 7:30pm and 10:30pm, with each performance running for approximately 90 minutes. Ticket prices start from $50, while bookings are available via vivamelbourne.com.au/events.

In addition, Thursday performances are currently offered at reduced ticket pricing. This applies only to that specific day within the weekly schedule.

The venue has confirmed that both Vogue and Vicious will cease performances on 25th April. Following this, new productions are scheduled to launch in May, although further details have not yet been released.
