Winter Glow runs from 20th June to 29th August 2026
Adventure Park Geelong’s Winter Glow will return on 20th June 2026, with a larger snow area, two new rides and an extended run through to 29th August.
The winter event, now in its sixth year, will turn the Wallington theme park into a snow-focused attraction across winter, including every day of the July school holidays. It will feature Victoria’s largest indoor snow play zone, with 300 tonnes of real snow for snowman building, snow angels and hill sliding.
This year’s event also adds a Snowball Throw Zone, where visitors can throw snowballs at a custom target wall. The aim is to give families the snow experience without needing to travel to the mountains.
The biggest additions for 2026 are two new rides. The Ice Toboggan is a 45-metre ice slide where guests ride in a tube down a frozen track. The Drop Zone is a new 20-metre drop tower, described by Adventure Park as the tallest ride of its kind in Victoria.
Managing Director Leanne Salmon said the park wanted to expand the event for its sixth year.
“With Winter Glow entering its sixth year, we really wanted to raise the bar. By increasing the amount of real snow and introducing the Ice Toboggan, we’re making that high-country magic accessible to everyone,” says Ms. Salmon.

Snow, lights and rides across the winter season
Alongside the snow play and new rides, Winter Glow will include a 2.5km accessible lights trail with 3.3 million lights and more than 1,000 light installations. Adventure Park says it is the largest light display in Victoria.
The event will also include ice sculpting by local artist Glenn Smith and world champion ice carver Kevin Roscoe, as well as Ice Princess meet and greet sessions.
Entry includes unlimited access to nine theme park rides, including the new Drop Zone and Ice Toboggan. Other rides include the Wave Swinger, Crazy Coaster and Ferris Wheel. Two mini golf courses are also included.
Several paid extras will run during the event. The Enchanted Snow Salon is new for 2026 and gives children a winter-themed dress-up experience with a tiara, cloak and glitter. Marshmallow roasting will also be available at an extra cost.
VIP Winter Igloos will be available for families and groups looking for a private space during the event, with four available each night. Food and drink will include hot donuts with toppings, chocolate-covered churros, loaded hot chocolates, mulled wine and spiked hot drinks.

The event runs from 3:00pm to 9:00pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and from 4:00pm to 9:00pm from Monday to Thursday.
