LEXI Encoders Boost Live Broadcast Innovations

AI-Media has introduced its revolutionary LEXI Text Encoder and LEXI Voice Encoder at the prestigious NAB Show 2026 in New York. This marks the company’s first new encoder hardware release in over a decade, representing a significant advancement in AI language technology. The NAB Show, renowned for showcasing groundbreaking media, entertainment, and technology innovations, served as an ideal platform for this launch.

The new encoders are engineered for high-performance live production with full 4K support, upgraded processing power, and advanced AI-driven capabilities. These features are designed to enhance live broadcast workflows, supporting increasingly complex AI-driven processes and ensuring seamless integration across SDI, IP, and cloud-based workflows. The introduction of LEXI Live Sync ensures captions and translations remain perfectly synchronized with video feeds, enhancing viewer experience.

Bill McLaughlin, Chief Product Officer at AI-Media, stated, “For the first time in over a decade, we’re introducing entirely new encoder hardware, built not just to support today’s workflows, but to power the next generation of AI-driven live production. We’re focused on delivering the infrastructure that enables content to be understood in any language, anywhere in the world.”

Innovative Features and Flexible Models

The LEXI Voice Encoder enhances multilingual workflows with advanced AI sound separation and noise removal, optimizing audio inputs for high-quality voice translation. AI-Media is implementing a Hardware-as-a-Subscription (HaaS) model across its encoder range, eliminating upfront costs and providing scalable access to the latest technology. This model allows broadcasters to adapt quickly to evolving technology needs without significant financial barriers.

AI-Media’s presence at NAB 2026 includes the full LEXI Suite, an end-to-end ecosystem of AI-powered solutions designed to enhance accessibility, engagement, and global reach. The suite features include LEXI Text for industry-leading live captioning, LEXI Translate for real-time language translation, and LEXI AD for enhanced audio descriptions, catering to visually impaired audiences. LEXI AI (Insights) offers valuable data analytics for broadcasters to understand audience engagement better.

Visitors at booth #W2142 can experience live demonstrations of the new encoders and the LEXI Suite, alongside collaborations with partners such as AudioShake and NVIDIA. AI-Media is offering a limited-time incentive, with customers able to secure three months free, enabling immediate access to next-generation technology while reducing upfront costs. This offer highlights AI-Media’s commitment to making cutting-edge technology accessible to a broader audience.
