Rebrand comes after 5.3 million patient interactions
Amplar Health has launched a new brand as it expands direct healthcare services to patients across Australia.
Medibank Group’s healthcare delivery company unveiled the rebrand on 17 September 2026. The move reflects Amplar Health’s growing role in delivering more joined-up, personalised and proactive care.
Over the past year, Amplar Health delivered 5.3 million patient interactions across Australia. In FY26, its home-based care models helped save 194,000 hospital bed days.
As a result, the rebrand comes as Amplar Health moves beyond its traditional business-to-business base. It is increasingly delivering healthcare services directly to patients under the Amplar Health name.
Current services include home hospital care, virtual nursing, GP services, prevention and wellbeing programs, and primary care through Myhealth and Better Medical clinics.
Medibank ties brand to 2030 ambition
Within Medibank Group, Amplar Health plays a central role in the company’s health delivery plans. Medibank links that role to its 2030 ambition to support better health outcomes for more Australians and help build a more sustainable health system.
The updated brand reflects a care model that combines technology, data and human care. It also focuses on earlier intervention and prevention, while care is delivered in settings that suit each patient.
Amplar Health Group Lead Robert Read said the rebrand marked the next stage in the business. “We’re taking another important step in Amplar Health’s evolution,” Mr Read said.
Read also said Australia’s healthcare system was undergoing significant change. He said Amplar Health was positioned to support that shift through virtual care, hospital-in-the-home services, prevention programs, primary care and partnerships.
Meanwhile, the 194,000 bed days saved in FY26 came from home-based services that treated patients outside hospital wards. That reduced pressure on the health system while improving patient experience.
Medibank did not disclose a financial cost for the rebrand or a timetable for any further service rollout.
