Asana, Inc. Has announced the acquisition of StackAI, a San Francisco-based no-code AI workflow platform, on 28th May 2026. This strategic move aims to bolster Asana’s capabilities in orchestrating complex workflows across various enterprise systems.
StackAI enables companies to design, test, deploy, and govern custom AI agents, automating operational processes across tools like ERP, CRM, and ITSM. This acquisition allows Asana to integrate these capabilities, enhancing automation for business-critical workflows.
Dan Rogers, CEO of Asana, emphasised, “This acquisition accelerates our roadmap and marks the next phase of human-agent work. We’re seeing real momentum with AI Teammates and AI Studio.” The integration aims to help enterprises unlock productivity by enabling collaboration between humans and AI agents across systems.
StackAI’s Role in the Acquisition
StackAI’s platform is known for its ability to execute end-to-end processes across various enterprise tools, including Salesforce, AWS, and Oracle. The platform facilitates bi-directional sync, allowing seamless interaction with industry applications.

As part of the acquisition, StackAI’s team, led by co-founders Tony Rosinol and Bernard Aceituno, will join Asana. The acquisition is expected to enhance Asana’s ability to offer governed, reliable workflows across systems and teams.
