Conway's Impact on European Expansion

Chris Conway has been appointed as Senior Vice President and General Manager for Bringg in the EMEA region. The company announced this on 21st April 2026. Conway will lead Bringg’s commercial strategy and strengthen customer relationships across Europe.

With over 20 years of experience, Conway previously spearheaded digital commerce transformations at major UK grocery chains. At Co-op, he managed the Quick Commerce division, expanding it into a £500 million operation. His leadership at Asda and Morrisons also significantly boosted their online grocery initiatives.

Bringing Experience to Last-Mile Solutions

Guy Bloch, Bringg’s CEO, emphasised Conway’s capabilities. He remarked, “Chris built one of the UK’s most successful delivery operations as a Bringg customer and decided to come over and build it for others.”

Conway’s responsibilities will include engaging with European retailers and logistics leaders. His aim is to position Bringg as a leading last-mile performance solution and convert relationships into structured pilot engagements.

Before joining Bringg, Conway founded Peckish, a rapid delivery app that provided independent retailers with access to q-commerce technology. At Asda, he led the online grocery business to over £1 billion in revenue and captured 20% of the market share.

In addition to his operational roles, Conway holds an AI certificate from Oxford Saïd Business School. This expertise supports Bringg’s focus on building AI capabilities for complex delivery decisions.

Conway expressed his vision for the role. He noted, “On the retail side, I spent years trying to make last-mile delivery a competitive advantage rather than a cost. I’ve also seen how Bringg does it—starting from a deep understanding of customers’ problems and using automation and AI to improve last-mile performance.”

Bringg’s solutions are widely used by global retailers and logistics providers to reduce costs and enhance customer experiences. Their modular technology platform, integrated fleet network, and services suite drive last-mile performance and unlock flexibility at scale.

Conway’s experience at Co-op was pivotal. He built and scaled a £500 million-plus q-commerce operation delivering from nearly 2,000 stores. His comprehensive understanding of the industry makes him an ideal leader for Bringg’s European expansion. Conway’s firsthand experience as a Bringg customer positions him uniquely to guide the company’s regional growth.
