Support for Australians and Palestinian People
A dawn candlelight vigil is set to take place at Kirribilli House on Monday, 18th May at 6am. This event will express support for Australians who were aboard the Global Sumud Flotilla and the people of Palestine.n

Ethan Floyd, a member of the Wiradjuri, Wailwan, and Ngiyampaa communities, was among six Australians detained during the incident. He studies law at the University of Sydney and was part of the 180 humanitarian volunteers aboard the flotilla.u002Fp>n

The flotilla included 22 vessels intercepted and destroyed by the Israeli navy. Volunteers, including Floyd, experienced violence and abuse during their detention on an Israeli prison ship, where they were held for almost two days. Passports and other belongings were reportedly stolen.u002Fp>n
