Easter donuts collaboration launches with limited-edition flavours
Two Australian brands have collaborated on a limited-edition Easter donuts range combining chocolate confectionery with seasonal bakery flavours. Daniel’s Donuts and Darrell Lea developed the range to bring together signature donuts and Easter chocolate products.
The range is available nationally through participating 7-Eleven locations and participating Daniel’s Donuts retail stores. The collaboration introduces two themed donut creations alongside a seasonal sharing pack.
Both brands are recognised for established product lines and national customer followings. As a result, the collaboration combines Daniel’s Donuts bakery products with Darrell Lea’s Easter chocolate range.
According to the companies, the partnership focuses on seasonal flavours and recognisable confectionery products. Therefore, the range blends traditional Easter chocolate elements with soft donut bases.
Limited edition Easter donuts range details
The Speckled Egg Nest Donut features a ring donut coated with crunchy sprinkles and topped with Darrell Lea Speckled Eggs. The product forms a colourful chocolate nest designed around Easter themes.
Meanwhile, the Bilby Milk Choc Donut contains a filling of Darrell Lea chocolate. The donut includes bright icing, silver decoration and a bilby topper referencing the Darrell Lea Easter Bilby.
The range also includes a themed Easter 4 Pack designed for sharing. The pack contains two cinnamon sugar ring donuts alongside the Speckled Egg Nest Donut and Bilby Milk Choc Donut.
This product mix combines existing Daniel’s Donuts favourites with the limited-edition Easter donuts. In addition, the pack offers both classic and seasonal products within one purchase.

Daniel’s Donuts founder Adam Stapleton said the collaboration connects two established Australian brands through seasonal products.
“At Daniel’s Donuts, we love taking iconic Aussie flavours and giving them a fun, feel-good twist. So partnering with Darrell Lea, a brand that’s been part of Easter celebrations for generations, felt like the perfect match. This limited-edition range is packed with nostalgia, indulgence, and the kind of creativity our customers expect from us. It’s our way of making Easter a little more joyful, one bite at a time.” Says Adam Stapleton, CEO, Daniel’s Group.
Darrell Lea representatives said the collaboration reinterprets existing Easter confectionery products through bakery items.
“Darrell Lea has been part of Australian Easter celebrations for generations, so we’re thrilled to see our classic Easter favourites re-imagined through Daniel’s Donuts’ signature indulgent creations. Together, we’ve created something nostalgic yet new combining the quality chocolate Australians love from Darrell Lea with Daniel’s bold and playful donut expertise to deliver a truly memorable Easter treat.” Says Jane James, Darrell Lea’s Head of Marketing.
Brand background behind the Easter donuts collaboration
Daniel’s Donuts began in Melbourne in 2016 as a small family bakery. Since then, the business has expanded to more than 40 locations across Australia and introduced a range of more than 50 donut flavours.
The company also offers vegan and gluten-free options alongside pies, coffee and milkshakes. In addition, the brand established a national partnership with 7-Eleven to distribute selected products.
Darrell Lea was founded in 1927 and produces chocolate, liquorice and confectionery products for the Australian market. The company manufactures its range domestically and sources cocoa through sustainability-certified supply.
The confectionery brand also removed palm oil from its product range in 2020. Today its portfolio includes chocolate blocks, balls and bullets, Rocklea Road, liquorice and allsorts products.
The Easter donuts collaboration combines elements from both product ranges into a seasonal release. Distribution includes participating 7-Eleven stores and participating Daniel’s Donuts retail stores nationally, while stocks last.
