Flights and Destinations Expanding
Emirates is celebrating a significant milestone in its recovery journey by restoring 96% of its global network, as of 4th May 2026. The airline now operates over 1,300 weekly flights to 137 destinations across 72 countries. Emirates has progressively resumed services across regions such as the Americas, Europe, Africa, West Asia, the Middle East/GCC, the Far East, and Australasia. This expansion marks a return to 75% of its pre-disruption capacity, emphasizing its dedication to reconnecting global travellers.
From March to April, Emirates successfully carried 4.7 million passengers. This achievement highlights the ongoing demand for travel and the trust passengers place in Emirates to deliver safe and efficient journeys. Passengers can expect exceptional onboard experiences, with meals crafted by award-winning chefs and a wide selection of premium beverages. the airline’s ice inflight entertainment system offers over 6,500 channels in nearly 40 languages, including movies, TV shows, music, podcasts, games, and audiobooks.
Enhanced Travel Experience
Emirates ensures connectivity at 40,000 feet with high-speed Wi-Fi available on 28 aircraft, enhanced by Starlink connectivity. This provides ultra-fast and reliable internet access. Emirates also offers flexible travel options. For bookings from 2nd April, passengers can change travel dates with one free date change. The Dubai Connect programme provides complimentary hotel accommodation, airport transfers, and meals for customers with layovers in Dubai lasting between 6 to 26 hours.
Emirates operates 45 weekly flights from Australian gateways, including two daily flights to both Melbourne and Sydney, with services to Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth also restored. Celebrating 30 years of operation in Australia, Emirates has transported over 40 million passengers. The airline supports local events and sponsorships, including the Australian Open and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, continuing its commitment to the region and strengthening cultural ties.
