Naming body parts correctly from a young age, addressing questions calmly, and discussing respect, consent, and boundaries are essential before children reach adolescence.

The organisation highlights that many young people are exposed to adult themes through social media, streaming platforms, and online gaming well before any formal parental discussion. According to Interrelate, children often encounter complex issues like gender identity and body image pressures during early childhood.
