Historic Partnership with IOC for LA28 and Beyond
JPMorganChase has been named the first-ever Global Banking Partner of the Olympic Games, marking a historic collaboration with the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Announced on 28th April, the partnership encompasses the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games as well as the French Alps 2030 Winter Games.
This groundbreaking partnership will see JPMorganChase serving as the Official Bank of Team USA and the LA28 Games. The firm will also be a Founding Partner of the LA28 Games, reflecting a mutual commitment to excellence and ambition. As part of the agreement, JPMorganChase will provide financial health workshops for athletes through the IOC’s Athlete365 platform, ensuring a legacy that lasts beyond the Games.
Kirsty Coventry, President of the IOC, stated, “JPMorganChase is the first Global Partner from the banking sector in Olympic history, and we are proud to welcome them to the Worldwide Olympic Partner programme.” The partnership is not only historic but also pivotal for the financial stability of the Olympic and Paralympic Movements.
