TikTok creator backs travel eSIM brand with 25 million sales
Khaby Lame has joined Holafly as the travel eSIM company’s global brand ambassador, Holafly announced in Dublin on 20th July 2026.
Lame built his audience with silent videos that mock complicated fixes and replace them with simpler answers. Holafly said that same idea shapes the new campaign.
With more than 160 million followers on TikTok, Lame is the platform’s most-followed creator. His audience reaches virtually every major travel market.
Holafly has sold more than 25 million eSIMs worldwide. The company also offers coverage across more than 200 destinations.
The tie-up builds on an existing link between the two sides. According to Holafly, Lame has used its service while travelling internationally.
Holafly service for international travel
Holafly lets travellers activate mobile data before departure. As a result, they can connect within minutes of arriving at their destination.
The company is targeting a problem that still affects international travel in 2026. Millions of travellers still search for local SIM cards, rely on public Wi-Fi or worry about roaming charges after crossing a border.
Holafly says digital travel tools have advanced faster than mobile connectivity abroad. Travellers can book flights, accommodation, transport and experiences on a smartphone in seconds, yet many still lose easy access to data when they enter another country.
The company positions its eSIM product as a way to avoid that gap. Users can arrange data access before leaving home instead of treating setup abroad as an unavoidable hassle.
Daniela Prado, Holafly’s Brand Director, said: “Khaby became a global phenomenon by reminding people that the simplest solution is often the best one.”
Prado linked that appeal to common travel tasks such as booking a flight, navigating a new city and staying in touch with family and colleagues. She said travellers now expect services that feel seamless, intuitive and dependable.
The partnership arrives as Holafly pushes wider global growth in travel technology. The company said Lame’s cross-border profile fits those ambitions because his work regularly takes him across countries and continents.
Holafly described the collaboration as a natural fit because Lame already used the brand during international trips. The campaign also launched with a video on 20th July 2026.
The release described Holafly as a global leader in travel eSIMs.
