Lee Kum Kee Launches Mobile Kitchen at St Kilda Festival

Lee Kum Kee Mobile Kitchen to operate at St Kilda Festival on 14th and 15th February 2026

Lee Kum Kee will introduce its first Australian Mobile Kitchen at the St Kilda Festival in Melbourne. The activation marks the brand’s first local rollout of the mobile kitchen concept.

The Mobile Kitchen will operate across the festival weekend on 14th and 15th February 2026. It will trade from the Main Stage Area at St Kilda Beach during the festival’s core hours.

The launch coincides with Melbourne’s largest free summer festival, which attracts large crowds each February. The event spans music, food, arts and community programming across the foreshore precinct.

Lee Kum Kee designed the Mobile Kitchen as a standalone food service activation. The setup delivers a curated street food menu centred on the brand’s sauces and condiments.

The menu features several chicken-based dishes, including Stir-Fried Noodles with Chicken and Signature Fried Rice with Chicken. Festival-goers will also find Crispy Lemon Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken, Japanese Curry Chicken and Sweet Chilli Chicken served with rice.

In addition, the offering includes Pan-Fried Dumplings, Vegetarian Spring Rolls, and Crispy Fried Wontons. Each dish incorporates Lee Kum Kee sauces as core ingredients.

Menu and on-site experiences

The Mobile Kitchen will trade from 12:00 noon to 9:00 pm on Saturday, 14th February and Sunday, 15th February. Service will run continuously throughout both days.

Visitors can access complimentary product sampling during the festival. The sampling includes Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce and Chiu Chow Style Chilli Oil sachets.

The Lee Kum Kee Panda Mascot will move throughout the precinct during scheduled appearances. The mascot will participate in meet-and-greets, photo opportunities and family-focused interactions.

A daily prize draw will operate across the weekend. Attendees can enter on-site for a chance to receive limited-edition merchandise and curated product bundles.

The Mobile Kitchen highlights a range of premium ingredients paired with Lee Kum Kee sauces. The menu reflects a mix of traditional Asian flavours and familiar festival-style dishes.

The St Kilda Festival holds a long-standing position on Melbourne’s events calendar. Each February, the festival attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors to St Kilda Beach.

Food remains a central component of the event’s programming. Temporary kitchens, pop-up traders and food activations operate alongside live music and arts programming.

Lee Kum Kee will continue operating the Mobile Kitchen beyond its festival debut. The brand plans further appearances around Melbourne before expanding nationally across 2026 and subsequent years.
