New Models Target Flu Season Challenges

On May 28, 2026, Levoit launched its latest winter indoor air care lineup as Australia faces peak flu season. These advanced air purification systems aim to enhance home environments during this critical period.

According to reports, seasonal influenza in Australia results in about 300,000 GP visits, 18,000 hospitalisations, and 3,500 deaths annually. The new lineup focuses on the increased indoor time Australians experience during winter.

Oscar Mei, an experienced air purifier specialist at Levoit, states, “This flu season is a timely reminder that health risks aren’t just about what we touch, but also what we breathe.”

Levoit Air Purifiers in Focus

Levoit is a prominent name in the global air purifier market, known for its certified HEPA filtration systems. These systems capture 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns, helping reduce indoor airborne particles without producing ozone.

The Core 400S model is suitable for areas up to 90 square metres, while the Core 300S is ideal for spaces up to 54 square metres. Both models are designed for everyday use, featuring quiet operation and robust filtration capabilities.

The Winter Preparation Sale by Levoit will take place from May 30 to June 3, offering up to 28% off. More information can be found at levoit.au.

Levoit’s air purifiers not only offer strong filtration but also maintain a balance of aesthetic design and quiet operation, making them suitable for daily use. The Core 400S is ECARF-certified, tested for a 99.9% bacteria and virus reduction rate, making it ideal for larger living areas.

During colder months, flu and allergy seasons overlap, making attention to indoor environments crucial for wellbeing. Levoit’s air purifiers support this by recirculating cleaner air throughout the day, as noted by Oscar Mei.

While air purification is not a substitute for vaccination or hygiene practices, it serves as an additional layer of support in maintaining a healthier indoor environment. Levoit focuses on making air purification fit real life, emphasising consistency in cleaner indoor air.
