Festival to Feature Lime Cordiale and More

The Lime Green Festival for Climate Action is set to take place at the Adelaide University Cloisters on 17th April 2026. This event aims to raise awareness about climate change through a combination of music and educational sessions.

Headlining the musical performances are Oliver and Louis Leimbach from Lime Cordiale. Alongside them, Effie Isobel, the winner of triple j Unearthed, will deliver an acoustic set. Mark Muggeridge, the Festival Director, emphasised the importance of using music to inspire change.

Speeches will be delivered by prominent figures including Adam Bandt, CEO of the Australian Conservation Foundation, and The Hon. Emily Bourke, Minister for Climate, Environment and Water. These talks are designed to provide insights into current environmental challenges and solutions.

Starting at 11:00 am, attendees are encouraged to arrive by 10:45 am for smooth entry. Access to the Cloisters is via Victoria Drive, with street parking available. The festival’s design includes several green initiatives to minimise its environmental impact.

After the speeches, an open Q&A session will allow the audience to engage with speakers directly, fostering a deeper understanding and encouraging active participation in climate action.
