Drilling Resumes with Significant Trench Finds
Titan Minerals has resumed drilling at its Dynasty Gold Project in Ecuador, uncovering new shallow gold zones beyond the current resource footprint. This initiative is part of the company’s efforts to expand the project’s gold and silver resources.
Exciting Trench Results Confirm New Mineralisation
Recent trenching at the Cerro Verde prospect confirmed new mineralisation outside the existing resource envelope. Notable results include 6.1 metres at 5.1 g/t gold and 3.9 g/t silver, and 1.6 metres at 12.6 g/t gold and 42.7 g/t silver.
Currently, the Dynasty Gold Project hosts a Mineral Resource Estimate of 3.9 million ounces of gold and 26.1 million ounces of silver. The latest trench results suggest potential for rapid growth in near-surface resources.
Three diamond rigs are now operating at the site. They are part of a 10,000-metre exploration and resource extension effort aimed at increasing the current resource estimates.
Melanie Leighton, CEO of Titan Minerals, expressed excitement about the ongoing drilling activities, stating, “We are excited to have the drill rigs turning again at Dynasty, as we look to build upon our 2025 exploration success.” She noted the potential for additional shallow mineralisation to be quickly added to the resource inventory.
First assay results from the new drilling programme are expected within the next four to six weeks. Titan is also advancing scoping studies for the project, with completion targeted for late Q3 to early Q4 2026.
In recent developments, trench results have indicated a 400-metre extension to the west and a 150-metre extension to the east of the current resources at Cerro Verde. These findings create new targets for follow-up drilling.
Key trenching results also include 3.7 metres at 3.8 g/t gold and 6.1 g/t silver, and 3.5 metres at 3.9 g/t gold and 21.9 g/t silver. These findings highlight the potential for additional shallow resources and demonstrate the effectiveness of low-cost exploration.
Titan Minerals is focused not only on resource growth but also on development studies at Dynasty. The company’s continued efforts aim to enhance the project’s value and ensure sustainable resource expansion.
