Happy Valley model lifts gold targeting in Victoria

Advance Metals ties final assays to new 3D geological work

Advance Metals has completed a new 3D geological model for the Happy Valley deposit in Victoria, aiming to sharpen drill targeting across the wider Myrtleford Gold Project. Final assay results from the recent drilling programme arrived before the model was completed.

Hole AMD029A returned 1.8 metres at 15.2g/t gold from 132.3 metres. That interval included 0.2 metres at 131.5g/t gold from 132.3 metres. Hole AMD030 also returned 1.3 metres at 4.65g/t gold from 324.0 metres.

According to the new model, three main gold-bearing quartz veins extend to at least 500 metres below surface. The work also improves understanding of the structural controls on gold mineralisation at Happy Valley.

At Happy Valley, the interpretation points to high-grade gold shoots where the main quartz veins intersect before later faulting offsets them. As a result, the model gives Advance Metals a clearer framework to target high-grade extensions and other mineralised zones across Myrtleford.

Managing director and chief executive Dr Adam McKinnon described the final assays as encouraging, but he argued the main outcome was the updated model. He said it provided a much clearer view of the controls on high-grade gold mineralisation and a stronger base for future targeting.

16km Magpie-Barwidgee trend

Regional mapping and sampling are continuing along the 16km Magpie-Barwidgee trend. Numerous historic workings on that corridor remain untested by modern drilling.

In Perth on 6 July 2026, Advance Metals released the Happy Valley update alongside details from its broader Victorian gold portfolio. Beaufort exploration has also advanced, with 46 rock chip samples collected and assays pending.

Dr McKinnon pointed to several ultra-high grade intersections already delivered at Happy Valley. He added that work along the Magpie-Barwidgee trend and pending Beaufort assays give Advance Metals further exposure to Victorian gold.
