Council seeks feedback on festivals, markets and concerts

North Sydney Council has opened a five-minute survey on its events programme, with feedback due by 24 July 2026.

Residents, workers, visitors and event attendees can complete the survey on the Council’s Your Say page.

Current events named in the review include street festivals, markets, cultural celebrations, free concerts and New Year’s Eve on the harbour.

Participants are asked what they enjoy now, what could improve, what may be missing and which events they want more of in future.

The feedback will help shape future event planning and programming across North Sydney.

Council wants the programme to reflect the diverse interests of the North Sydney community.

Meanwhile, Sharpe Advisory and the Astrolabe Group are carrying out an independent review of the events programme for Council.

That review will assess how Council events bring the community together and contribute to North Sydney’s identity.

It will also examine how those events celebrate local culture, support local businesses and create vibrant public spaces.

After the review, the consultants will identify opportunities to strengthen the programme.

Council says the survey takes about five minutes and is encouraging broad participation before 24 July 2026.

People can complete the form at yoursay.northsydney.nsw.gov.au/events-review.

Following the 24 July 2026 deadline, Council will use survey results and the independent review to inform future decisions on its events programme.
