Global Events Mark Leadership Transition
On May 1, 2026, Paradism Day will be celebrated worldwide, focusing on the transition to a society driven by artificial intelligence, robotics, and abundance. Members of the Paradism Movement highlight this day as a historic turning point from scarcity to abundance. Celebrations will take place in major cities, including Las Vegas, where the movement emphasises a shift from traditional economic models.
Technological advances, according to the movement, make traditional work and money obsolete. This shift opens doors to a new era centered on human fulfillment rather than survival. “For the first time in history, humanity has the tools to create a world of abundance for all,” stated Jarel, Raelian Guide and leader of the Paradism Movement. “But technology alone will not determine our future; it is the people who control it.”
Automation promises unprecedented productivity. However, the current economic and political systems are not equipped for a world without human labor, warns the movement. “Our social, political, and economic systems were built for scarcity. If we do not adapt, we risk systemic collapse instead of liberation,” Jarel explained.
Rethinking Leadership Models
Current leadership structures, shaped by centuries of competition and scarcity, are considered inadequate for managing the power of advanced technologies. Paradism advocates call for a leadership model that prioritises empathy and ethical decision-making. “The real danger is not artificial intelligence,” Jarel stated. “It is placing immense power in the hands of individuals who lack the emotional maturity and ethical grounding to use it wisely.”
Paradism Day events will include public discussions and initiatives, especially across Europe, urging for higher ethical standards in political leadership. A petition registered with the European Parliament supports this cause. These events aim to gather public support for systemic changes.
Activists argue that many current leadership structures reward dominance over empathy, a model that poses an existential threat in the age of powerful technologies. “Whether we reach the golden age or return to the stone age depends on who we choose to lead us,” Jarel further commented. “We stand at the threshold of a golden age, but reaching it requires conscious, responsible leadership.”
