Pool Passes Return To LE SPLASH At Le Méridien Melbourne

Pool Passes offer morning and sunset access at LE SPLASH rooftop pool

Pool Passes have returned to LE SPLASH Rooftop Pool Bar at Le Méridien Melbourne, reopening public access to the hotel’s fifth-floor pool deck overlooking Parliament House and Bourke Street. The seasonal program runs across the summer and provides scheduled entry for both hotel guests and the public.

Previously limited to in-house guests, the Pool Passes program now extends access to the 28°C heated rooftop pool and open-air sun deck. The elevated setting receives direct daylight from morning through sunset, while city views remain uninterrupted throughout operating hours.

The pool deck sits above the central business district and functions as a combined swimming and hospitality space. As a result, access is managed through timed passes to maintain capacity and service flow. The arrangement supports daytime swimming and evening social use without altering the core hotel offering.

Pass options and rooftop service details

The Morning Pool Pass operates from 8 AM to 12 PM. During this period, pass holders receive access to the rooftop pool and deck. In addition, each booking includes one serving of Le Méridien’s Le Scoop gelato and a selected beverage.

The Sunset Pool Pass runs from 6 PM to 9 PM. During evening hours, the rooftop environment shifts to accommodate social swimming and bar service. Moreover, the same inclusions apply as those provided with the morning option.

On Friday and Saturday evenings, LE SPLASH Rooftop Pool Bar opens to the wider public from 5 PM to 9 PM. This service operates independently of Pool Pass access and focuses on drinks and dinner rather than swimming-only entry.

Food and beverage service at LE SPLASH centres on poolside dining formats designed for shared consumption. The menu includes seasonal oysters prepared to order and the venue’s signature steak sandwich served with pomme frites. Due to demand, the steak sandwich often reaches daily allocation limits.

Additional menu items include salads and green bowls intended for warm-weather dining. The Mediterranean Melon combines watermelon, cucumber, feta, pistachio and lime mint dressing. Consequently, the dish aligns with the lighter daytime service model.

Frozen desserts form part of the rooftop offering. Options include the Citrus Frost Bar, made with limoncello and white chocolate, and the Berry Noir Bar, featuring strawberry ice cream coated in dark chocolate. These items are positioned as post-swim refreshments.

For premium service, Champagne and caviar selections are available. The offering includes traditional accompaniments such as blinis, chives and crème fraîche. G.H. Mumm Cordon Rouge features as the core Champagne option. Additionally, limited allocations of Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015 Limited Edition by Takashi Murakami are available upon enquiry, subject to stock.

The rooftop pool remains heated at 28°C throughout the season. Therefore, the venue supports swimming across varied weather conditions while maintaining consistent operating standards. Capacity limits apply daily, and availability varies by session.

Pool Passes start from $85 per person, with a capped number released each day. As a result, advance booking is required to secure access.
