Prosecco Festival brings 50 wines to Abbotsford Convent on 28th February 2026

Melbourne’s annual Prosecco Festival will return to Abbotsford Convent on Saturday 28th February 2026 for its ninth edition. The adults-only event will feature more than 50 Proseccos available for tasting across two sessions.

Festival attendees will meet growers, winemakers and importers while sampling Italian and Australian producers. In addition, Van Di Vino will operate alongside wines by the glass, craft beer and food vendors throughout the day.

Italian producers confirmed include Babo, Bandini, Belussi, Calneggia Family Vineyards, Cipriani Bellini and Tivo Spritz. Meanwhile, Australian producers include Dal Zotto Wines, Edenvale, Austins Wines, Box Grove Vineyard, Brown Brothers, Cloak and Dagger, De Bortoli Wines, Innocent Bystander, Santa & D’Sas, Tar & Roses, Taylor Ferguson and Vino Intrepido. More producers will be announced.

Edenvale Wines will serve as the official alcohol-removed sparkling and wine partner. The brand will provide alternatives for guests seeking alcohol-free options during the event.

Dal Zotto, based in Victoria’s King Valley, returns as the official Prosecco partner. The winery has produced Prosecco wines for more than two decades.

Hydrodol will provide recovery wallets containing pre-drink vitamins and rehydration products for guests. Additionally, King River Brewing will offer craft beer on the lawn, while other sparkling varieties will be available beyond Prosecco.

Outside, Italian and local food vendors will operate across the site. Confirmed vendors include Abruzzo Lab serving arrostocini, Il Panzerotto Taste of Puglia and Arancini Art. Vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available, with the full food line-up to be announced in thecoming weeks.

VIP masterclasses and inclusions

Each session will include a VIP Masterclass hosted by Melissa Brauer, known as the Prosecco Queen. The 45-minute guided tasting will showcase four Prosecco styles paired with antipasto and cheese. VIP guests will receive an Aperol Spritz on arrival, courtesy of Dal Zotto and Aperol.

Masterclasses will run at 11.30am during Session 1 and 5pm during Session 2.

General admission tickets include a Plumm sparkling wine tasting glass to keep, unlimited tastings, a tote bag and additional complimentary items. Wines by the glass will be available directly from exhibitors for $12. Guests may also purchase wines for takeaway or home delivery.

The event will run across two sessions on Saturday, 28th February 2026. Session 1 will operate from 11.00am to 3.00pm, while Session 2 will run from 4.30pm to 8.30pm.

General admission tickets are currently priced at $74.00, inclusive of a booking fee. VIP tickets are currently priced at $133.00, inclusive of the booking fee. Prices are subject to change.
