295 Million Tonnes Grading 1.36% Li2O

On April 20, 2026, Q2 Metals Corp. Announced an inferred mineral resource estimate of 295 million tonnes grading 1.36% lithium oxide at its Cisco Lithium Project in Quebec, Canada.

BBA Inc. Conducted the estimate, which includes 270 million tonnes of pit-constrained resources at a cut-off grade of 0.4% Li2O and 24 million tonnes of underground resources at a cut-off grade of 0.7% Li2O.

Alicia Milne, President & CEO of Q2, stated, “Today’s announcement of our inaugural MRE marks a significant milestone for Q2 and the Cisco Lithium Project. Cisco is located in Quebec, Canada – a top global mining jurisdiction – and its size and grade position it among the top hard rock lithium projects, globally.”

Exploration and Growth Potential

The geological model suggests a continuous spodumene pegmatite body. It has a strike length of 1.8 km and thickness ranging from 2 m to over 450 m. The area remains open in all directions, signalling further exploration potential.

Neil McCallum, Vice President of Exploration, commented, “This inaugural Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate firmly confirms Cisco as a leading spodumene pegmatite asset, with significant additional exploration upside and clear potential for continued growth across the broader project area.”

Beyond the current resource, an exploration target estimates 44 to 67 million tonnes of potential mineralized material. This material has grades between 0.88% and 1.35% Li2O, highlighting further growth opportunities at the Cisco Project.

The Cisco Project benefits from its proximity to infrastructure. It is just 6.5 km from the Billy Diamond Highway, with rail access in Matagami, about 150 km to the south. This location supports efficient logistics and transportation.

During the 2026 exploration, efforts focus on resource expansion and conducting environmental studies. These studies are crucial to support further development and ensure sustainable practices.

The exploration target is exclusive of the inferred resource estimate. Only the immediate area around the Cisco deposit is considered, indicating significant opportunity for growth at the Cisco Lithium Project.

The deposit area, which represents a small fraction of the overall 41,253 ha project area, remains highly prospective for additional discoveries, suggesting a promising future for the project.

The geological and exploration work was conducted by a team including core contractors such as Dahrouge Geological, Youdin Rouillier Drilling, and Helicarrier, demonstrating consistent execution and a commitment to advancing the project.

As the project advances, Q2 Metals remains focused on further exploration to potentially delineate additional resources, thereby enhancing its contribution to the global battery metals supply chain.
