Event to Support Young People with Disabilities
Mark your calendars for an enchanting evening at the STEPS Grand Winter Ball, set for Saturday, 25th July at the Sunshine Coast Function Centre. This annual event aims to raise vital funds to support brighter futures for young people with disabilities and autism through STEPS Pathways College.
This year's gala promises an unforgettable night, featuring a performance by Australian Idol winner Marshall Hamburger and special guest Melissa Doyle AM. The black-tie affair is a celebration of community spirit and commitment to enhancing the educational and life skills of students at STEPS Pathways College.
Melissa Doyle AM, a devoted ambassador returning for her third year, shared her excitement: "The STEPS Grand Winter Ball is such an incredibly uplifting evening, meeting the students and knowing we are all contributing to ensure they can achieve their dreams."
She further expressed admiration for the students: "I never cease to be inspired by the students at STEPS Pathways College. They are strong, proud young men and women, learning the skills to lead independent and purposeful lives."
Support and Contributions
The event is presented by Caloundra RSL and supported by several partners, including Ken Mills Toyota, Prima Commercial Fitouts, Pippa Colman Family Law, and Kilcoy Global Foods. The latter has generously donated award-winning premium beef for the decadent three-course menu.
Katrina May, STEPS Pathways Charity Manager, highlighted the significance of the event: "Our STEPS Grand Winter Ball guests will have the opportunity to see first-hand the impact of their support on the lives of these fabulous young people."
