Summer Jam 2026 Brings NBA Legends To St Kilda

Summer Jam 2026 features Metta World Peace and Lance Stephenson at Peanut Farm Reserve from 20th to 22nd February 2026

Summer Jam Championship 2026 will take place from 20th to 22nd February 2026 at Peanut Farm Reserve in St Kilda. Organisers confirmed former NBA players Metta World Peace and Lance Stephenson will headline the three-day event. The Championship forms the final event of the 2026 Summer Jam season.

Metta World Peace, an NBA Champion and Defensive Player of the Year, will appear across multiple on-court and fan events. He won an NBA title with the LA Lakers and built a reputation for his defensive impact. He is also widely linked to the Malice at the Palace, later revisited in Netflix’s Untold series.

Meanwhile, Lance Stephenson will return following his appearance at last year’s Championship. He appeared alongside Drake during the 2025 event. As a result, organisers positioned his return as a continuation of the event’s global basketball connections.

Across the weekend, both players will participate in the Jam Elite Showcase and the Creator Cup: World vs Australia. In addition, they will attend scheduled fan meet and greet sessions. Their involvement places international streetball figures alongside local and emerging players.

3 Day Championship Program Confirmed

Summer Jam Championship 2026 will deliver Men’s, Women’s and Under 21’s competitions. Championship Finals and trophy presentations will conclude the tournament schedule. Furthermore, the program includes the World Dunk Contest and the Creator Cup.

Live music acts and headline performances will run throughout the weekend. Therefore, organisers have structured the event as a combined sporting and cultural program. The precinct will also include Jam Alley and a dedicated Food Court featuring partner vendors.

Jordan Brand and Foot Locker will activate a retail pop-up within the event precinct. The space will stock exclusive Summer Jam merchandise and selected Jordan Brand apparel and footwear. An interactive customisation station will allow attendees to personalise selected pieces on site.

Maybelline New York will return as a partner and introduce Maybelline Square Garden, an immersive pop-up activation. The installation will feature the Game Face Beauty Bar and interactive makeup discovery zones. It will also include a games arcade with prizes.

The Coca-Cola Chill Zone will provide seating and live match screenings on large screens. Fans can use the space to watch games and access refreshments during the day. Consequently, organisers have expanded off-court activations across the site.

Established in 2011, Summer Jam began as a grassroots streetball event. Since then, it has developed into a national basketball and street culture platform powered by Jordan Brand and Foot Locker.
