Unified organisation extends support across three regions

SydWest expanded across Nepean, Western Sydney and the Inner West in July 2026 after unifying with Riverlink Disability Services.

As of July 2026, the combined organisation operates under one name: SydWest.

The unification brings together four decades of multicultural community services and disability support experience.

SydWest now offers disability support, aged care, settlement pathways, and youth and family services.

According to the organisation, the July 2026 move aims to improve culturally responsive support for families using the NDIS and aged care.

Those systems can be hard to access when cultural and linguistic barriers affect families in Western Sydney, Nepean and the Inner West.

CEO Elfa Moraitakis said, “As we grow together, our priority remains listening to our communities and building services around our community’s needs.”

Riverlink Disability Services adds specialised disability and respite expertise to SydWest’s multicultural community support.

Meanwhile, the wider footprint covers three regions: Nepean, Western Sydney and the Inner West.

Western Sydney and the Inner West are among Australia’s most culturally diverse and rapidly growing regions.

For families who need more than one service, SydWest now combines aged care, disability support, youth services and settlement pathways in one organisation.

Moraitakis also said the Riverlink unification would deepen connection and support across Nepean, Western Sydney and the Inner West.

She said the organisational change would also amplify community voices.

Following the July 2026 merger, SydWest combines community support, settlement pathways, aged care, youth and family services, and specialised disability and respite services.

Since July 2026, the organisation has continued to work with local communities and partners to shape tailored, needs-based services.

As a result, SydWest says it can respond to changing demand with broader support across Western Sydney, Nepean and the Inner West.
