Nazia Ahmed to Enhance Disability Services
SydWest Multicultural Services has appointed Nazia Ahmed as the new Head of NDIS (Disability Division), effective from 3rd May 2026. This appointment strengthens the organisation’s leadership in delivering high-quality, person-centred disability services.
Nazia Ahmed brings a wealth of experience, having worked in the disability sector for over 16 years. During her 13-year tenure at Sunnyhaven Disability Services, she held various senior roles, including in customer relations, office management, Supported Independent Living (SIL), Core Support, and Support Coordination. Her expertise in service delivery, operational leadership, and quality improvement will be crucial in her new role at SydWest.
Before this appointment, Ahmed played a significant role in SydWest’s Quality, Risk, and Compliance team since 2025. Her work in strengthening governance and supporting continuous improvement highlighted her deep sector knowledge and collaborative leadership style.

Ahmed’s new position will focus on enhancing the quality of SydWest’s disability support services. She aims to elevate SydWest’s reputation as a trusted provider of people-centred support. Her appointment underscores SydWest’s commitment to strategic leadership in the disability services sector.
