Cenaris says compliance software tracks gaps and risk
Australian compliance technology startup Cenaris is targeting NDIS providers and healthcare organisations with an AI platform built to show audit readiness, risk and remediation in real time.
The platform includes a Live Overall Audit Readiness Score. That score combines compliance requirements, policies, evidence, risks and remediation activity in one continuous view.
As a result, NDIS providers and healthcare organisations can track their compliance position each day instead of preparing for audits at the last minute.
Cenaris trained its AI for the compliance environment rather than broad consumer use. The system grounds outputs in an organisation’s own documents and evidence instead of general web information.
According to Cenaris, that method reduces inaccurate or unsupported AI responses. It also gives organisations practical guidance on gaps, risk and remediation steps.
ANSA Health in July 2025
The idea started with co-founder Adam while he worked at ANSA Health. In July 2025, he took responsibility for compliance and governance and found it hard to understand the organisation’s overall compliance position.
At ANSA Health, policies, documents, evidence and requirements could be reviewed one by one. However, Adam could not see a simple organisation-wide picture.
He then searched for compliance software that could show real-time compliance, risk and audit readiness. He also wanted AI that could identify gaps, assess their significance and explain what to do next.
After reviewing available products in 2025, Adam concluded that none delivered the mix of live compliance visibility, risk assessment and practical remediation guidance he wanted.
Adam summed up that gap in one line: “If the solution doesn’t exist, we should build it.”
Following that decision, Adam shared the idea with his wife and future co-founder, Natasha. Natasha brought more than a decade of software industry experience to the project.
Natasha backed the plan to build the product, and that choice marked the start of Cenaris. The next task was creating AI that organisations could trust for sensitive compliance work.
NDIS and healthcare providers
Cenaris aims its platform primarily at NDIS providers and healthcare organisations. Those sectors face increasing mandatory regulatory requirements and ongoing reform.
Because of that pressure, many providers still rush to gather evidence before an audit. Cenaris wants to shift that process to continuous compliance management.
The company says its main goal is to reduce the compliance administration burden for providers. In turn, organisations can save time and stress while focusing more on quality care.
Cenaris describes the product as AI-powered compliance management with a live audit readiness view. Meanwhile, the core selling point is a system that links requirements, evidence, risks and remediation in one place.
