Customer-Facing Roles to Fuel Growth
Tines, the Irish-founded tech company, announced on 22nd April its plans to double its workforce in Australia. This expansion coincides with the official launch of its Asia-Pacific hub, responding to the increasing demand for intelligent workflows in the region.
The company aims to open several customer-facing roles to drive growth and enhance engagement within the Australian and New Zealand market. Tines now offers local data residency options with AWS, providing clients flexibility to customise their setups.
Tines’ technology powers workflows for major organisations like Canva, the Australian National University, REA Group, and nib Health Funds. The company integrates AI, automation, and human oversight to improve business operations.
Increased Demand for AI Solutions
Interest from IT teams has surged, leading Tines to broaden its use cases beyond security operations. The enterprise demand for AI-driven business value is evident, with 75% of clients using Tines across multiple departments.
CEO and co-founder Eoin Hinchy stated, “We’re seeing a real shift in the local market right now, from early adopters like Canva and ANU, who have embraced intelligent workflows at scale, to a growing wave of organisations that are just beginning to explore what’s possible.” Hinchy emphasised that Tines is uniquely positioned to help these companies operationalize AI and derive more value from existing tools. “Doubling our footprint in Australia is a natural next step, and we’re committed to building something significant here for the long term,” he added.
Judith Harrington, Senior Market Advisor at Enterprise Ireland, commented, “Tines is a standout example of an Irish company building world-class technology and scaling globally with real intent. Its continued investment in the Australian team reflects strong demand from enterprise security and IT teams for intelligent workflow automation.”
Tines, dual-headquartered in Dublin and Boston, recently announced the creation of 100 new jobs in the U.S. As organisations worldwide adopt intelligent workflows, Tines continues its global expansion, boasting a 94% success rate of pilots advancing to production.
According to a report from MIT, while 95% of AI implementations fall short, Tines successfully connects an average of 68 different tools for its customers, demonstrating its ability to integrate seamlessly across various systems and help teams work effectively across silos.
The company’s growth strategy includes expanding its customer base in the Asia-Pacific region, which is experiencing a significant increase in demand for intelligent workflows. Tines’ ability to provide local data residency options further enhances its appeal to organisations in Australia and New Zealand, allowing them to comply with regional data protection regulations while leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies.
