Mornington Peninsula event returns on 21 November 2026

VineHop Festival has secured Victorian Government backing for its 2026 return to the Mornington Peninsula on 21 November 2026.

Support will come through the Victorian Government’s Regional Events Fund, with Visit Victoria listing VineHop among backed regional events.

Now in its ninth year, VineHop is targeting 6,500 people for its 2026 edition on the Mornington Peninsula.

Across the Peninsula, festival-goers will move between wineries, cideries and breweries while taking in live music, local food and craft drinks.

Headline acts for 2026 are Eric Powell, Superdisco Club and Andy Murphy, according to vinehopfestival.com.au.

Tourism Minister Natalie Suleyman said the fund gives visitors another reason to travel to the Mornington Peninsula and helps local jobs and businesses.

In 2025, VineHop drew 5,445 attendees and generated $1.76 million in economic impact for the local region.

That 2025 event also delivered 1,800 overnight stays, showing the festival’s reach beyond a single day.

Nearly half of attendees came from outside the Peninsula, while Melbourne suburbs accounted for 35% of the crowd.

Visitors spent an average of $153.60 at the event itself and another $105.66 in the wider region on the same day.

Each year, VineHop features more than 35 independent local craft beverage producers alongside more than 30 food vendors.

For many local businesses, VineHop is one of the biggest trading days of the year and a chance to meet thousands of new customers.

Organisers also use local musicians and event suppliers, tying more of the Mornington Peninsula economy to the festival.

Audience data from the briefing shows 71% of VineHoppers are aged 35 to 49.

Festival Director and Mac Events Co founder Lisa MacGregor said the government support would help VineHop expand its reach in 2026.

Tickets are on sale through vinehopfestival.com.au ahead of the 21 November 2026 event.
