Silver Climate Change partner adds Japan support
ADEC ESG renewed its partnership with CDP on 21 July 2026 and expanded its accreditation to Japan. The company remains a CDP Silver Climate Change consultancy partner.
Under the renewed role, ADEC ESG supports disclosing organisations on sustainability strategy, climate transition planning, risk mitigation and regulatory preparedness. It also provides help on ESG strategy, metrics management and disclosure.
In 2026, ADEC ESG added Japan to its accreditation footprint. Organisations in that market can now seek support for climate planning and other sustainability initiatives.
CDP runs an environmental disclosure system used by more than 22,000 companies and 1,000 cities, states and regions. The non-profit accredits providers that help companies manage sustainability reporting and planning.
According to CDP, that support can include climate-related scenario analysis and strategies for a water-secure and deforestation-free future. Accredited providers also help companies find gaps in environmental performance and address them.
Japan accreditation expansion
Since 2011, ADEC ESG has helped organisations improve their CDP performance. Its client work has covered climate risk and resilience, water risk, greenhouse gas emissions and science-based targets.
As part of ADEC Innovations’ global portfolio of companies, ADEC ESG offers consulting and data management support. Those services are aimed at sustainability and ESG needs across global markets.
Tara Jankowski, associate director of sustainability at ADEC ESG, said companies in every sector want practical and credible ways to speed up sustainability progress. She argued that the renewed CDP accreditation strengthens ADEC ESG’s ability to guide organisations toward resilience and measurable action.
Meanwhile, CDP recognised ADEC ESG as a long-standing Silver Accredited Solutions Provider. Jackie Davis, head of ASPs at CDP, pointed to more than a decade of support for CDP disclosures.
Davis also praised ADEC ESG’s technical capabilities, strategic insight and data management support. In her view, those strengths have made the company a trusted partner for organisations seeking better disclosures and credible environmental action.
Across its wider business, ADEC ESG helps organisations operate responsibly and grow. The company describes its model as fully integrated and cost-effective for clients with changing sustainability needs.
