AO Shop launches at Fed Square from 10th January to 1st February
The AO Shop has opened at Fed Square as part of the lead-in to the Australian Open 2026, operating from 10th January through to 1st February. The activation launches one week before the tournament’s main draw begins and runs throughout the early stages of the event period.

Located in the centre of Melbourne, the AO Shop combines retail, exhibition space, and scheduled activities. The site offers official and exclusive Australian Open merchandise, providing early access for visitors ahead of on-court competition.
Extended trading hours operate across the activation period, with daily opening times ranging between 9am and late evening, depending on the date. In addition, a delivery service is available, allowing purchases to be sent directly to hotels or residential addresses within Melbourne.

Alongside retail operations, the AO Shop hosts daily pickleball activities and giveaways during the Australian Open period. Each day at 12pm, staff run a pickleball game of chance, open to visitors during trading hours.
All participants in the daily pickleball activity receive a Daniel’s Donut. Winners also receive Australian Open merchandise, including AO-branded T-shirts and caps. Separately, the first 100 customers each day receive a complimentary Daniel’s Donut, subject to availability.
Exclusive to the Fed Square location is Fifteen Love, a free gallery exhibition curated by Eddie Zammit. The exhibition features an artist print series comprising fifteen individual works, each corresponding to one day of the Australian Open schedule.

The Fifteen Love series focuses on the relationship between elite tennis and Melbourne as the host city. Each artwork represents a specific tournament day, marking the progression of the event across its full duration.
“Fifteen Love reflects the rhythm of the Australian Open, fifteen days where world-class tennis and Melbourne’s creative energy come together. Each work marks a moment in time, celebrating not just the sport, but the city that hosts it,” said curator Eddie Zammit.

The exhibition includes works from Melbourne-based artists Stephen Baker, Cat Berruer, Tom Gerrard, Lee McConnell, and Travis Price. All pieces are rendered using Australian Open colour palettes and formats specific to the exhibition.
A limited run of fifteen prints is available for purchase while stocks last. Each print corresponds to one day of the tournament and forms part of the complete Fifteen Love series.

The AO Shop activation operates throughout the peak summer period at Fed Square, coinciding with increased visitor traffic in the precinct. The program integrates retail, sport-related activities, and visual arts within a single location.
The activation continues until 1st February, aligning with the closing stages of the Australian Open calendar and related city-based programming.
