Series A extension lifts total funding to €38 million

Brenus Pharma has raised €11 million in an extension to its Series A round, lifting total capital raised since inception to €38 million. The company announced the financing from Lyon, France, on 20th July 2026.

The round follows clinical, regulatory and business development milestones that have de-risked STC-1010 and support expansion of its proprietary platform into multiple assets.

Existing investors joined the extension again, including Angelor, UI Investissement, which manages FRAI, Crédit Agricole through CACE Création and CACF Capital Innovation, Noshaq, Orsa, formerly Investsud, BIO JAG and Bpifrance through non-dilutive funding.

Sambrinvest and Korea Omega Investment Corp

Two new international investors also entered the round. Sambrinvest strengthens Brenus Pharma’s European shareholder base, while Korea Omega Investment Corp is its first institutional investor from the Asia-Pacific region.

Dae Kyeong Bae, senior vice president at Korea Omega Investment Corp, described the deal as the firm’s first investment in France and pointed to differentiated technology, early clinical validation and fast execution by the team.

“We couldn’t be more confident in our first investment in France,” Bae said. “This is exactly the type of European innovation we want to support as we expand our portfolio internationally.”

Meanwhile, chief executive Paul Bravetti said the money will help Brenus Pharma complete the Phase I programme for STC-1010 and advance its next drug candidate.

The extension brings Brenus Pharma’s total funding to €38 million, or about $43.5 million, while the new tranche alone is worth €11 million, or about $12.6 million.

Bravetti thanked the company’s long-standing investors and said continued backing from existing shareholders came alongside support from the two new international investors.

Brenus Pharma develops an off-the-shelf immuno-oncology platform. Its technology mimics tumour protein expression and makes those signals visible to the immune system.

As a result, the platform aims to trigger a multi-specific in-vivo immune response that adapts to tumour evolution in hard-to-treat solid tumours, where current therapies often fall short.
