Cloudkicker drilling points to gold lift

Cloudkicker could add 20,000 ounces in 18 months

New Murchison Gold expects Cloudkicker to add about 20,000 ounces of gold to production over the next 12 to 18 months. First caprock ore is scheduled to be crushed in September 2026.

The company reported the latest drilling results on 14 July 2026 from Perth, Western Australia. Cloudkicker sits immediately adjacent to the existing Crown Prince open pit and within the approved mining area for the Crown Prince Gold Mine.

Because the deposit is already incorporated into Mining Lease M51/886, New Murchison Gold can mine it without seeking extra approvals or building new infrastructure. That gives the project a faster path into the operating mine plan.

Recent drilling confirmed shallow, high-grade gold mineralisation at Cloudkicker. Standout intercepts included 10 metres at 13.61g/t gold, including 3 metres at 32.17g/t, 9 metres at 9.31g/t and 1 metre at 54.80g/t gold.

The drilling programme covered 136 grade control holes and 30 resource definition holes. Those holes added geological information across the main ore domains and improved confidence in the resource model.

Domain 4001 drilling results

Results were especially important for Domain 4001, the largest and highest-grade mineralised zone within Cloudkicker. The new drilling shows that Domain 4001 is more continuous than earlier models suggested.

Chief executive Alex Passmore said the high-grade intersections should improve both grade and tonnage at Cloudkicker compared with the initial modelling.

Meanwhile, the latest assays will feed into an updated Cloudkicker Mineral Resource Estimate. After that, New Murchison Gold plans to revise pit designs and update the open pit mining schedule.

The company also stated that mining has already commenced at Cloudkicker as part of the existing Crown Prince operation. Since the deposit sits inside the current operating footprint, production can be brought online with limited extra site resourcing.

These drilling results support mine planning at Crown Prince as New Murchison Gold moves from resource definition to ore delivery. In addition, the stronger geological interpretation gives the company a firmer base for scheduling near-term tonnes from a shallow deposit beside the current pit.
