Members saved nearly $40 million last financial year
Everyday Rewards members can use the program’s fuel discount at nearly 1,000 sites across Australia after the loyalty scheme added more than 45 U-GO locations to its network.
The new tie-up marks the first time a loyalty program has been introduced across a network of self-serve fuel sites in Australia. U-GO operates an unstaffed model that lets motorists pay at the pump.
At participating U-GO sites, members can save 4c per litre when they spend at least $30 in one transaction at a participating Woolworths Supermarket or Woolworths Metro and scan their membership card. They also collect one Everyday Rewards point for every litre of fuel bought at those sites.
Across the broader network, fuel vouchers now work at around 500 EG Ampol sites, 450 Ampol Foodary sites and the newly added U-GO locations. Everyday Rewards said more U-GO locations will be announced as the rollout continues.
4c discount and points at U-GO
Everyday Rewards managing director Hannah Ross said fuel is a major expense for Australian households and the wider network is meant to make the discount easier to use. She said the offer now reaches almost 1,000 sites nationwide.
Members saved nearly $40 million on fuel in the last financial year by using the vouchers, according to Everyday Rewards. The program also lets customers turn every 2,000 points into $10 off a future shop at Woolworths and other program partners.
Customers can also choose to bank their points for the Christmas period instead of redeeming them straight away. That gives members another way to use points collected from fuel purchases and everyday spending.
U-GO general manager for retail fuels Prasad Kholkute described the partnership as an important step as the company continues to roll out sites across Australia. He said the unstaffed format is designed to offer a quick pay-at-the-pump experience while adding Everyday Rewards points to fuel purchases.
