Greg Skalicky succeeds acting CEO Dr Varun Sethi
Clinigen appointed Greg Skalicky as group chief executive officer, effective 20 July 2026.
Skalicky succeeds Dr Varun Sethi, who has served as acting CEO since September 2025.
The pharmaceutical services company works across clinical trial services, strategic staffing and global compassionate use programmes.
Clinigen serves more than 1,000 pharmaceutical and biotechnology partners and operates across five continents.
Skalicky brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology and healthcare businesses.
Most recently, Skalicky served as president of Eversana, where he designed and implemented the industry’s first fully integrated commercialisation model.
Clinigen partners across five continents
Before Eversana, Skalicky held senior leadership roles at Syneos Health, formerly inVentiv Health, and PharmaNet.
At Syneos Health and PharmaNet, he managed major global client relationships with leading pharmaceutical companies.
Clinigen expects Skalicky to lead its next phase of growth and expand its work across the pharmaceutical lifecycle.
Paul Carter, chairman of Clinigen, called Skalicky “an accomplished healthcare executive with deep industry expertise and a proven ability to scale global organisations”.
According to Carter, Skalicky’s experience in commercialisation, patient access and pharmaceutical services matches Clinigen’s integrated model.
Carter also thanked Sethi for leading the company since September 2025 and advancing its strategic priorities.
Skalicky said Clinigen had built a strong reputation for solving complex access and supply challenges in healthcare.
He added: “The company’s mission, expertise, and commitment to patients deeply resonate with me.”
Following the 20 July 2026 appointment, Clinigen will keep focusing on operational excellence, customer partnership, innovation and strategic expansion.
Under Skalicky, Clinigen plans to accelerate growth, enhance client value and expand access to critical medicines worldwide.
