SYDNEY — Thousands are set to participate in Coastrek 2026 this Friday, March 27, along Sydney’s Northern Beaches, highlighting hiking for mental health. The event, spearheaded by Coastrek Founder Di Westaway OAM and Beyond Blue CEO Georgie Harman AO, emphasises the benefits of nature in mental wellbeing.
The event will see participants, including prominent Australian figures, trek distances up to 50km from Palm Beach to Manly. According to Westaway, outdoor activities offer transformative benefits for mental and physical health. Harman noted that the event not only promotes mental health but also supports Beyond Blue’s services.
