Maximising Value with Australia's New Battery Rebates

Hinen will present its energy storage solutions at the Smart Energy Conference & Exhibition 2026 (SECE 2026) in Sydney on 6th and 7th May. The event, led by the Smart Energy Council, will see Hinen co-exhibit with Powow Energy and Sol Distribution. This exhibition aligns with Australia’s new battery rebate policy, effective from 1st May 2026, which introduces tiered subsidies for energy systems.

Australia’s federal battery rebate policy offers the highest rebates for the first 14kWh of capacity, encouraging consumers to invest in systems that maximise rebate benefits. Larger systems receive reduced support, making 14kWh systems the most cost-effective choice.

Hinen’s A Series H10S battery system, featuring a 14.4kWh capacity, is strategically designed to optimise rebate benefits. Positioned at the threshold of the most favorable rebate tier, this system allows for future expansion to meet growing energy needs, supporting up to 72kWh when configured with multiple units.

Key Features of Hinen’s Battery Solutions

The B14400-H high-voltage battery offers flexible installation options, suitable for narrow spaces typical in Australian homes. It integrates a five-layer safety protection system ensuring user safety, and boasts IP65-rated durability for diverse outdoor conditions.

The system includes smart energy tracking and over-the-air updates via the Hinen App. This feature enables real-time monitoring and continuous system optimization, reducing unnecessary energy loss through ultra-low standby power consumption.

Hinen will also display a comprehensive range of energy solutions for residential and light commercial applications. This includes the A Series H5S, a 3.6–5kW single-phase system for residential use, and the A Series H25T, a 10–25kW three-phase system for larger homes and small commercial settings. The H5000-EU + B5000 provides a flexible low-voltage solution to meet various energy needs.

Hinen’s participation in SECE 2026 underscores its commitment to advancing renewable energy technologies and supporting Australia’s transition to more sustainable energy solutions. By showcasing innovative products that align with the new battery rebate policy, Hinen aims to enhance energy efficiency and promote sustainable technology in the region.

Hinen emphasises the importance of scalability and future growth in energy demand. Their systems are designed to integrate seamlessly with electric vehicles, addressing the increasing need for energy in modern households. The automotive-grade controller and AFE chips used in their systems ensure high-precision monitoring and long-term operational stability.

The Smart Energy Conference & Exhibition 2026 is expected to attract numerous installers, distributors, and industry partners. This provides Hinen with the opportunity to build valuable connections and further its mission to innovate within the renewable energy sector. By focusing on both residential and commercial applications, Hinen is poised to make a significant impact on the market.
