HOYTS has unveiled its groundbreaking LED movie experience at the Melbourne Central flagship cinema, offering a new standard in immersive viewing as of 4th May 2026. This initiative represents a leap forward in cinema technology, redefining how audiences enjoy movies.n

The HOYTS APEX format is characterised by a super-sized 21-metre LED screen composed of over 17 million pixels. This setup provides viewers with images that are not only brighter but also more vivid, enhancing the overall visual experience.n

Dolby Atmos integration further enhances the experience by providing an immersive audio environment. Combining cutting-edge visual and audio technology creates a cinema experience that is unparalleled in clarity and depth.n
