Rochester Electronics will distribute RF and power semiconductors worldwide

Qorvo and Rochester Electronics completed a worldwide distribution agreement on 14 July 2026 to extend the availability of Qorvo RF components and power semiconductors.

The deal expands access to Qorvo connectivity and power products for customers worldwide. It focuses on long-life applications and lifecycle support.

Through Rochester Electronics, Qorvo will extend product availability for lifecycle design needs. Rochester serves as a licenced manufacturer and an authorised continuing source of semiconductors.

According to the companies, the agreement helps customers avoid system redesigns. It also reduces risk for ongoing programmes and supports the reuse of existing Qorvo-based hardware platforms.

Dan Smith, vice president of worldwide sales and distribution at Qorvo, said the agreement reinforces Qorvo’s support for high-performance products with dependable supply.

Qorvo linked the distribution deal to key markets including aerospace, defence, connectivity, industrial, power management and communications. Those sectors often need long-term supply for mission-critical designs.

The release described the collaboration as a way to improve continuity for long-term applications.

Nick Rabbitt, vice president of business development and product strategy at Rochester Electronics, said the partnership will help industries with strict reliability and longevity requirements.

15 billion devices in stock

The company says more than 70 semiconductor manufacturers authorise its supply model.

As an original manufacturer stocking distributor, Rochester holds more than 15 billion devices across more than 200,000 part numbers. That stock includes end-of-life semiconductors as well as active devices.

Rochester has also manufactured more than 20,000 device types as a licenced semiconductor manufacturer. In addition, it holds more than 12 billion die in stock and says it can manufacture more than 70,000 device types.

Its services include design, wafer processing, assembly, test, reliability and IP archiving. As a result, engineers and OEMs using Qorvo parts can source supply and manufacturing support through one provider.

Following the agreement, customers using Qorvo RF and power products will have a longer support path for existing systems. That matters in aerospace, defence and industrial programmes, where redesigns can take time and add cost.
