Regnology, a leader in regulatory technology, announced their updated Ascend platform on 31 March 2026. This next-generation platform introduces an advanced agentic AI layer, designed to transform regulatory reporting and financial oversight.
The evolution of Ascend integrates the Regnology Supervisory Hub, furthering the Straight-Through-Reporting (STR) vision. This enhancement empowers financial institutions with improved data governance, predictive insights to anticipate regulatory demands, and powerful automation to execute complex workflows.

The Ascend platform now leverages AI agents to manage workflows, analyse regulatory data, and generate advanced insights. Built on Regnology’s unified RGD data foundation, these agents provide a consistent, high-quality data model that enhances both institutional reporting and supervisory understanding.
Ascend’s AI capabilities automate data collection, validation, and examinations. Real-time analytics surface critical Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), operationalizing STR, enabling a more autonomous supervisory model with faster oversight cycles and stronger risk anticipation.
