Contract Marks Key Milestone in Rollout

SYDNEY — RocketBoots has announced the signing of a significant activation contract with a major international retailer, marking a vital step in the rollout of its AI-driven solutions. The agreement, confirmed this week, is valued at approximately A$3.3 million and signifies the transition to the deployment phase of a previously announced SaaS agreement.

The contract will see RocketBoots’ technology implemented across roughly 40% of the retailer’s global stores, according to the company’s statement. This activation phase is set to generate near-term revenue and lay the groundwork for ongoing SaaS income as the deployment continues.

Financial and Strategic Impact

The company outlined that the activation contract complements the existing SaaS agreement, without altering the previously disclosed annual recurring revenue of A$9.1 million over five years. RocketBoots CEO Joel Rappolt emphasised the importance of this contract in moving from award to full implementation, strengthening the firm’s position in the market.

Industry experts note that this development aligns with a growing trend towards AI solutions in retail, as companies seek to enhance operational efficiency and loss prevention. RocketBoots is actively engaging with other potential clients, indicating a robust pipeline for similar agreements.

The initial deployment has begun in Europe, with the U.S. rollout slated for June 2026. RocketBoots’ ongoing technical integration with the retailer and its partners reflects a commitment to seamless implementation and future expansion opportunities.

RocketBoots has announced plans to enhance its technology suite by incorporating advanced analytics and machine learning capabilities. These enhancements aim to provide retailers with deeper insights into consumer behaviour and operational efficiencies. As part of this strategy, RocketBoots is also exploring collaborations with leading technology firms to further bolster its offerings. Such initiatives are expected to drive innovation and maintain RocketBoots’ competitive edge in the rapidly evolving retail technology landscape.
