SIAL's Strategic Growth in Southeast Asia

For over 60 years, SIAL Network has been a global leader in B2B agri-food trade and innovation, shaping the food ecosystem by connecting industry leaders and facilitating trade on a vast scale. The organisation is now expanding its global reach by launching SIAL Vietnam in 2026. This new event marks a significant entry into the rapidly growing Southeast Asian food market.

With over 17,000 exhibitors and more than 700,000 professionals worldwide, SIAL Network continues to strengthen its position in the international food industry. It organizes 12 major events across four continents, including Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America.

New Milestone in Vietnam

The upcoming SIAL Vietnam will be co-located with the established Food Expo, a well-known exhibition with over 10 years of presence. This collaboration solidifies SIAL’s presence in a dynamic market driven by strong domestic demand, urbanization, and increasing international trade flows.

SIAL’s expansion in Southeast Asia is a strategic move in response to the growing global demand for market diversification and new growth opportunities. Vietnam’s food market is one of the most dynamic in the region, making it a key area for SIAL’s development.

In Asia, SIAL Shanghai serves as a major pillar of the network and ranks as the fourth largest food exhibition globally. Meanwhile, SIAL Canada is expected to reach record-breaking levels, reinforcing its role as a strategic gateway to North America. SIAL Canada plays a crucial role in connecting North American food markets with international players.

Elsewhere, SIAL Paris, the network’s flagship event, continues to set a global benchmark for the industry. This year’s edition anticipates hosting over 8,000 exhibitors and 295,000 industry professionals, demonstrating SIAL’s unparalleled ability to bring together the entire global food value chain.

Across all its markets, SIAL Network provides companies with direct access to strategic buyers and concrete business opportunities. The network acts as a global business accelerator, supporting companies in identifying new growth markets, navigating evolving supply chains, and responding to increasing demand for diversification.

The next major event in the SIAL Network calendar is SIAL Paris, scheduled for later this year. It promises to be an even more significant gathering of food industry professionals from around the world. This anticipated event highlights SIAL’s commitment to facilitating global connections and trade.
