Enhancing Warehouse Automation with Skild Brain
On 15th April 2026, Skild AI announced its acquisition of Zebra Technologies’ Robotics Automation business, which includes the Symmetry Fulfillment orchestration platform. This strategic move aims to revolutionise warehouse automation.
Integrating the Skild Brain, an omnibodied AI software, with Zebra’s established Symmetry platform, enhances Skild AI‘s ability to manage and orchestrate warehouse operations at scale. The combination allows Skild AI to deploy and control any robotic hardware within a warehouse, streamlining tasks across various environments.
Skild Brain functions without needing specific robot configurations. It generalizes across different robot types such as humanoids, mobile robots, and industrial arms without retraining. This flexibility supports seamless coordination of robots in real-time alongside human workers, boosting operational efficiency.
Transforming Warehouse Efficiency
Warehouses no longer need redesigning around specific robotic hardware, thanks to this integration. Skild AI now provides a comprehensive automation solution that includes humanoids for picking, robotic dogs for inspections, and AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots) for material movement. These elements operate under one orchestration layer to control them all.
Deepak Pathak, CEO of Skild AI, expressed his vision: “By combining Zebra’s human-robot orchestration platform with Skild AI’s omnibodied brain, we are set to transform what end-to-end automation looks like in warehouses that exist today.”
Abhinav Gupta, President of Skild AI, stated, “The Skild Brain in conjunction with Zebra’s person-to-goods solution will turn warehouses into hubs of hyper-efficiency. This acquisition allows us to provide a full end-to-end automation solution for warehouses.”
Founded in 2023 and backed by major investors such as SoftBank and NVIDIA Ventures, Skild AI has rapidly grown to a valuation exceeding $14 billion. The company, which swiftly grew from zero to approximately $30M in revenue within a few months in 2025, is now poised to significantly expand its enterprise deployments, building on this latest acquisition.
Skild AI is set to accelerate the pace of deployments at a rate previously unheard of in the AI robotics industry with the acquisition of Zebra’s Robotics Automation business. This advancement enables logistics operators to transform existing warehouses into symphonies of autonomy, eliminating the need to engineer warehouses around their robots.
